Botanical Name: Prunus amygdalus

Extraction Method: Cold expression of ripe seeds.

Qualities: Medium light, aroma free, easily absorbed, emollient, softening, conditioning, nourishing and moisturizing. Sweet Almond Oil contains naturally occurring Vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, and E, and is rich in minerals, proteins and essential fatty acids.

Uses: Good for all skin types and ages. Sweet Almond Oil is said to be especially helpful for: dry, chapped, itchy, inflamed, irritated, sensitive skin and the prevention of stretch marks. Preferred by Aromatherapists and used in creams, lotions, lip balms, massage oils & soaps.

Cautions: Considered a nut oil. Store in a cool dark place or refrigerate after opening. For external use only.

We use this in a blend with Bay oil to make shaving soap.  It blends well, and we always have great results
