Possible Uses: Basil used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: Anxiety, depression, mental and physical exhaustion, fever, concentration, headaches, gas, insect bites, muscle aches, sinus congestion, regulating menstrual cycle and reducing menstrual cramps. Commonly used as an insect repellent.

Precautions: Avoid using Basil during pregnancy and with any liver problems. Use sparingly and with caution avoiding long term use. Basil can be a possible skin irritant. Use only after diluting with a carrier oil and avoid using in baths. For external use only.
