Bergamot Calabrian Essential Oil
Effects: Rejuvenating and uplifting while being relaxing, balancing and refreshing.
Properties: Analgesic, antibacterial, antidepressant, anti-parasitic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, deodorant, digestive.
Possible Uses: Bergamot Calabrian used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: depression, anxiety, stress, loss of appetite, cystitis, eczema, psoriasis and oily hair and skin. Bergamot is also a great uplifting air freshener and increases feelings of joy and laughter.
Precautions: Bergamot can be a possible skin irritant. Use only after diluting with a carrier oil and never apply to skin (even after diluting or using in skin care products) before or during exposure to sunlight. Bergomot contains bergapten which is photo toxic. Avoid if you have sensitive skin.
To prevent
oxidization and prolong shelf life, keep away from heat and light in a tightly closed
container and refrigerate if possible.
