Origin: India

Botanical Name: Piper nigrum

Extraction Method: Steam distillation of dried berries.

Aroma Intensity: Middle

Evaporation Rate: Middle Note

Aroma: Fresh, warm, exotic, masculine, spicy, woody aroma.

Effects: Grounding and warming while being clarifying, inspiring, focusing and sense enhancing.

Properties: Analgesic, antibacterial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, anti-toxic, aphrodisiac, digestive, diuretic, stimulant.

Possible Uses: Black Pepper used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: arthritis, colds, cough, fever, emotional and mental fatigue, indigestion, circulation, sciatica, muscle cramps, aches and pains. Before sports activities, black pepper will help relax muscles.

Blends With: Bergamot, Fennel, Frankincense, Helichrysum, Lime, Lavender, Marjoram, Myrrh, Palmarosa, Parsley Seed, Patchouli, Rose, Rosemary, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang. 

Precautions: Black Pepper should be avoided during pregnancy and with sensitive skin. For external use only.

this EO has a very earthy scent that I think will compliment the lime very well in a diffuser. it will give  the lime that extra boost for something different and natural
