Aroma: Fresh, lively, and more intensely tangy than sweet orange.

Aromatic Properties: Rejuvenating, uplifting, refreshing, invigorating, inspiring, cheering, energizing, relaxing and calming.

Possible Uses: Blood Orange used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: depression, stress, anxiety, colds, fever, slow digestion, gas, constipation, acne, stress, and anxiety. Blood Orange is said to be the most anti-depressant of all the citrus oils.

Blends With: Benzoin, Cinnamon, Fennel, Frankincense, Geranium, Lavender, Lemon, Myrrh, Neroli, Petitgrain, Rose, Sandalwood, Spearmint, Tea Tree and Ylang Ylang.

Precautions: Blood Orange can be a possible skin irritant and is photo sensitive. Use only after diluting with a carrier oil and never apply to skin (even after diluting or using in skin care products) before or during exposure to sunlight. Avoid if you have sensitive skin.
To prevent oxidization and prolong shelf life, keep away from heat and light in a tightly closed container and refrigerate if possible. For external use only.
