Effects: Warming, energizing, purifying, mentally clarifying and stimulating.
Properties: Analgesic, antiseptic, anti-spasmodic, decongestant, expectorant.
Possible Uses: Cajeput used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: asthma, bronchitis, colds, cough, flu, fatigue, drowsiness, sports injuries, muscle aches and pains. Commonly used in steam inhalations for nasal congestion.
Blends With: Cedarwood,
Clary Sage, Clove, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Lavender, Lemon, Marjoram,
Myrtle, Nutmeg, Oregano, Pine, Rosemary, Tangerine and Thyme.
Precautions: Cajeput should be used sparingly and always diluted as it can be a skin irritant. Avoid if you have sensitive skin and avoid using at bedtime as it can be mentally stimulating. For external use only.
