Camphor Essential Oil
Effects: Cleansing and purifying.
Properties: Analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, diuretic, expectorant, stimulant.
Possible Uses: Camphor used in a diffuser or vaporizer is said to be helpful with the following conditions: arthritis, inflammation, flu, colds, fever, sinusitis, muscle aches and pains. Camphor is a very powerful antiseptic and has been used historically as an air purifyer to combat infectious diseases (such as influenza) and as an insecticide.
Precautions: Avoid use with the following conditions: pregnancy, epilepsy and asthma. Camphor
is not recommended to use on the skin (even diluted). It is a strong
skin irritant and sensitizer. Use Camphor with extreme caution. Avoid using around children.
