Aroma: Sweet, pungent, spicy, woody and warm aroma.
Effects: Warming, relaxing and sense enhancing.
Properties: Anti-diarrhea, anti-microbial, anti-nausea.
Possible Uses: Cassia used in a diffuser is said to be helpful with the following conditions: nausea, gas, diarrhea, insomnia, lowering high blood pressure and arthritis. Cassia can be used in candles, potpourri and other air fragrances.
Blends With: Benzoin,
Clove, Coriander, Fennel, Geranium, Ginger, Grapefruit, Lavender,
Palmarosa, Patchouli, Rosemary, Sandalwood, Tangerine, Thyme and Ylang
Ylang.
Precautions: Cassia is not recommended to use on the skin (even diluted). It is a strong skin irritant and sensitizer. Avoid use during pregnancy. For external use only.
