Properties: Analgesic, antibacterial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, deodorant, diuretic, fungicidal, insect repellent,stimulant.
Possible Uses: Citronella Essential Oil used in a diffuser is said to be helpful with the following conditions: depression, colds, cough, fever. Citronella is primarily used as an insect and mosquito repellent in diffusers, sprays and candles.
Blends With: Bergamot,
Cedarwood, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Frankincense, Geranium,
Lavender, Neroli, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Peppermint, Rose, Sandalwood
and Tea Tree.
Precautions: Citronella should be avoided during pregnancy. Citronella can be a skin and irritant and should always be diluted with a carrier oil. Avoid use with sensitive skin. For external use only.
