Botanical Name: Zingiber officinalis

Extraction Method: Steam distillation of root.

Aroma Intensity: Strong

Evaporation Rate: Middle/Base Note

Aroma: Warm, fresh, fiery, spicy, woody aroma. Very similar to ground ginger spice.

Aromatic Properties: Cheering, encouraging, grounding, stimulating, warming and sense enhancing.

Possible Uses: Ginger Root used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: aching muscles, arthritis, sprains, congestion, cough, fatigue, indigestion, gas,low blood pressure and poor circulation.

Blends With: Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Coriander, Fennel, Frankincense, Lime, Lemongrass, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Rosemary, Rosewood, Sandalwood, Tangerine & Vetiver.

Precautions: Ginger Root should be avoided during pregnancy and may cause skin irritation in high concentrations. Use in low concentration dilutions and use in moderation. For external use only.

i can't wait to combine this with sandalwood  to make an exotic room spray. I guess I will be ordering more oils as I have not yet ordered sandalwood. It is quite amazing at how well different scents combine that you would of never thought to do

this scent gives you a warm feeling. It will go great with sandalwood in a diffuser.

Ginger root is such a spicy oil!  We use it in our diffusers with a bit of lemon and coriander oil.  Our customers seem to really like it.
