Aroma: Fresh, sweet and tart, just like grated lemon peel only more concentrated.

Aromatic Properties: Cleansing, cooling, disinfecting, energizing, focusing, invigorating, purifying, rejuvenating, stimulating and uplifting.

Possible Uses: Lemon used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: arthritis, acne, asthma, fever, flu, throat infections, cellulite, varicose veins, constipation, weight loss, migraines, exhaustion, depression, oily skin & hair and high blood pressure. When Lemon is diffused during exams it is said to improve test scores.

Blends With: Benzoin, Elemi, Eucalyptus, Fennel, Geranium, Juniper, Lavender, Myrtle, Neroli, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Sandalwood Spearmint, Tea Tree, and Ylang Ylang.

Precautions: Lemon can be a possible skin irritant and is photo sensitive. Use only after diluting with a carrier oil and never apply to skin (even after diluting or using in skin care products) before or during exposure to sunlight. Avoid if you have sensitive skin.
To prevent oxidization and prolong shelf life, keep away from heat and light in a tightly closed container and refrigerate if possible. For external use only.
