Lime Essential Oil
Aromatic Properties: Rejuvenating, refreshing, cheering, clearing, cooling, inspiring, invigorating, stimulating and uplifting.
Possible Uses: Lime used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions:arthritis,
acne, asthma, fever, flu, throat infections, cellulite, varicose veins,
constipation, weight loss, migraines, exhaustion, depression, oily skin and hair. Lime is a wonderful essential oil for men's aftershave and cologne.
Precautions: Lemon can
be a possible skin irritant and is photo sensitive. Use only after diluting with a carrier oil
and never apply to skin (even after diluting or using in skin care products) before or during exposure
to sunlight. Avoid if
you have sensitive skin.
To prevent
oxidization and prolong shelf life, keep away from heat and light in a tightly closed
container and refrigerate if possible.
