Botanical Name: Macadamia integrifolia
Extraction Method: Cold expression of pressed nuts from the Macadamia tree.
Qualities: Macadamia Oil is a rich, stable oil containing palmitoleic acid (an essential fatty acid found in human sebum), which gives this oil rapid absorption & hydrating qualities. Properties include: anti-oxidant, regenerative, emollient, softening and conditioning.
Uses: Good for all skin types and ages. Macadamia Oil is said to be especially helpful for: premature aging of skin, dry skin, scars, sunburn, wounds and dry, damaged hair. Used in anti aging creams, baby lotions, lip balms, massage, face and bath oils.
Cautions: Considered a nut oil. Store in a cool dark place or refrigerate after opening. For external use only.
