Floral Waters are created during the steam distillation extraction process of Essential Oils. Ki Aromas Floral Waters are alcohol free.

Products: Floral Water is mild enough to apply directly to your skin, bath or sauna. In addition Floral Water has endless uses as a base to create your own products such as: after shave, bath raves, body spritzers, deodorants, facial toners/cleansers, hair care products, linen sprays, moisturizers, room/car fresheners, soaps and insect repellents! Tip: Refrigerate toners and spritzers before use, for a refreshing, cooling skin treatment.

Storage: To prolong the shelf life of Floral Water, keep away from heat and light in a tightly sealed container. Refrigerate when possible.

Cautions: For external use only.

Myrtle Floral Water
Botanical Name: Myrtus communis

Aromatic Properties: Clarifying, cleansing, refreshing, soothing and uplifting.

Possible Uses: Myrtle Floral Water when used on its own, or in Aromatherapy products is said to be helpful with the following conditions: acne, asthma, bronchitis, chronic cough, colds, flu, sore throat, fever and insomnia. Myrtle is a gentle alternative for Eucalyptus.

Enhanced scent when combined with other oils October 29, 2011

This floral water has a very crisp, clean scent. I typically use this water in my homemade facial masks for its clarifying attribute. I also add other essential oils and some carrier oil to offset the drying clay to create a very therapeutic facial mask. It is a great addition to my collection when combined with other oils since I don't particularly like the scent as much as others on its own.
