Aroma: Earthy, spicy, medicinal aroma, related to Tea Tree but sweeter and less sharp.
Aromatic Properties: Clearing, cleansing, focusing, healing, purifying, stimulating and uplifting.
Possible Uses: Niaouli used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: asthma, bronchitis, colds, cough, sinusitis, fatigue, wounds, burns, bruises, acne and insect bites.
Blends With: Basil,
Bergamot, Cajeput, Clary Sage, Hyssop, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon,
Marjoram, Myrtle, Petitgrain, Pine, Rosemary, Tea Tree, Thyme.
Precautions: Niaouli can be slightly skin irritating and should always be diluted with a carrier oil. Avoid use at bedtime as Niaouli can have a stimulating effect. For external use only.
