Aroma: Fresh, sweet, floral aroma. A lighter alternative to Neroli.
Extraction Method: Steam distillation of leaves and twigs from the bitter orange tree.
Aromatic Properties: Invigorating and uplifting, while calming, restoring and deodorizing.
Possible Uses: Petitgrain used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: asthma, arthtitis, muscle spasms, acne, oily skin, excessive perspiration, psoriasis, indigestion, insomnia, fatigue, panic, depression and SAD (winter blues)
Blends With: Benzoin,
Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Frankincense, Geranium, Jasmine, Neroli,
Lavender, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Rose, Rosemary, Rosewood, Sandalwood
and Spearmint.
