Aroma: Crisp, sweet-resinous evergreen aroma. Less penetrating than Pine Long Leaf.
Aromatic Properties: Invigorating, strengthening, balancing, energizing, detoxifying and uplifting.
Properties: Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiviral, decongestant, deodorant, disinfectant, expectorant, restorative and stimulating to circulatory and nervous system.
Possible Uses: Pine Scotch used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: asthma, bronchitis, cough, sinusitis, excessive perspiration, poor circulation, fatigue, stress, sprains, muscles cramps and stiffness. Pine is commonly used in saunas and steam baths.
Blends With: Basil,
Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Citronella, Cypress, Lemon Eucalyptus,
Juniper, Myrtle, Niaouli, Rosemary, Sandalwood, Tea Tree and Thyme.
Precautions: Pine Scotch can be a skin and irritant and should always be diluted with a carrier oil. Avoid use with sensitive skin. For external use only.
