Botanical Name: Rosa centifolia

Extraction Method: Food grade solvent extraction of flowers.

Aroma Intensity: Strong

Evaporation Rate: Middle/Top Note

Aroma: Sweet, lush, exquisite honey-like aroma.

Effects: Balancing, strengthening and uplifting, while being relaxing and soothing.

Properties: Antibacterial, antidepressant, antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiviral, aphrodisiac, astringent, diuretic, sedative.

Possible Uses: Rose Maroc used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: anxiety, depression, grief, insomnia, PMS, post partum depression, headache, nausea, poor circulation, mature skin, dry and sensitive skin.

Blends With: Bergamot, Cedarwood, Frankincense, Geranium, Jasmine, Lavender, Neroli, Helichrysum, Melissa, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang.  

Precautions: Rose Maroc should be avoided during pregnancy.

!!MARCH 2012 WINNER!!   I really can't decide which is lovelier, rose maroc or damask!  Both are lovely!  Both have incredible healing properties.  Both bring a sense of joy, calm and well-being.  Thank you to the KiAroma team [Snow... Rain, Fire.... a little inside serendipity that occured, hmmm, perhaps 10 years ago] that has been able now for many years to provide such wonderful products and excellent service.
