Spearmint Essential Oil

Effects: Invigorating, refreshing, calming and uplifting.

Properties: Anesthetic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, decongestant, digestive, diuretic, expectorant, restorative, stimulant.

Possible Uses: Spearmint used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: asthma, bronchitis, cough, fever, sinusitis, indigestion, gas, nausea, constipation, exhaustion, migraines, muscle aches and pains.

Precautions: Spearmint should be avoided during pregnancy. Spearmint can be a mucous membrane irritant and should always be diluted with a carrier oil.
