Aroma: Intensely sweet, exotic, floral aroma with spicy undertones.

Effects: Relaxing, soothing, calming and sense enhancing.

Properties: Antidepressant, anti-infectious, antispasmodic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, euphoric, sedative.

Possible Uses: Ylang Ylang used in a diffuser or aromatherapy massage blend is said to be helpful with the following conditions: anxiety, depression, impotence, PMS, nervous tension, insomnia, high blood pressure, acne, oily skin, mature skin and baldness. Commonly used as a fixative.

Blends With: Benzoin, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Frankincense, Grapefruit, Jasmine, Lavender, Myrrh, Neroli, Patchouli, Rose, Rosewood, Sandalwood and Vetiver.  

Precautions: Ylang Ylang should be avoided with sensitive or irritated skin. For external use only.
