Aroma and Properties: Balsam Fir Essential Oil has a fresh, crisp, clean Christmas tree aroma. Diffuse during the Holiday season with Cinnamon and Orange to enhance the festive spirit. When used in Aromatherapy Balsam Fir Essential Oil is warming, calming, relaxing, grounding, meditative, focusing, clarifying and uplifting.

Blends With: Benzoin, Chamomile Blue, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Frankincense, Lavender, Lemon, Orange, Pine, Rosemary and Spruce.

Extraction Method: Steam distillation of needles & twigs.

Main Constituents: α,β-pinene: 45.77%, limonene: 9.2%, l-bornyl acetate: 3.63%

Perfumery Note and Strength: Strong middle to top note.

Appearance and Consistency: Thin, clear to pale yellow liquid.

Additional Info: The Balsam tree is an evergreen tree native to North America. It is currently grown in the cooler regions of Eastern and Central Canada and Northeastern United States. Balsam Fir Essential Oil is produced from the needles and twigs.
