Aroma and Properties: Champaca Red Absolute 5% has a complex, enticing, exotic, sublime floral aroma layered beneath nuances of apricot, honey and mango. When used in Aromatherapy Champaca Red Absolute 5% is calming, soothing, relaxing, sense enhancing, and is both spiritually uplifting and euphoric. This seductive aroma has traditionally been used in high end perfumes, decadent soaps, lotions, skin care products and fine incense.

Blends With: , Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Frangipani, Frankincense, Helichrysum, Jasmine, Neroli, Orange, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Rose, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Vetiver and Ylang Ylang.

Extraction Method: Hexane free solvent extraction of flowers

Main Constituents: linalool 0.27%, B-caryophyllene 0.05%, B-elemene 0.05%, Eugenol 0.19%

Perfumery Note and Strength: Middle note with strong aroma.

Appearance and Consistency: Reddish amber, slightly thick transparent liquid.

Additional Info: Champaca Red Absolute 5% is traditionally used to make an 'attar' which is used in religious devotions in India and South East Asia. Champaca blossoms are sustainably harvested at night when the scent is most prominent. Champaca Red Absolute 5% is one of the principal ingredients of Nag Champa incense combined with Sandalwood Essential Oil and Frangipani Absolute.
