Origin: France

Aroma and Properties: Oakmoss Absolute 5% has a rich, earthy, mossy like aroma. Evoking the scent of the forest after a Spring rain. When used in Aromatherapy Oakmoss Absolute 5% is grounding, calming and spiritually awakening making it a superb aroma for meditation and healing from emotional trauma.

Blends With: Anise Star, Bay, Bergamot, Carnation, Cedarwood, Cinnamon, Cypress, Ginger, Jasmine, Lavender, Lime, Neroli, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Pine, Rose, Rosemary, Vetiver and Ylang Ylang.

Extraction Method: Hexane free solvent extraction of lichen.

Main Constituents: evernic acid, d-usnic acid, atranorine, chloratronorine

Perfumery Note and Strength: Base note with medium aroma.

Appearance and Consistency: Emerald green to brown coloured thick liquid.

Additional Info: The earthy aroma of Oakmoss Absolute 5% has traditionally been used as a fixative for perfumes. Please note that this product is naturally thick when cold. To bring the oil back to liquid format, gently warm bottle in a warm room.

Precautions: Oakmoss Absolute 5% should be avoided with the following conditions: pregnancy, epilepsy, hypersensitive or damaged skin. Use sparingly and always dilute with a carrier oil. Avoid using Oakmoss Absolute 5% with young children. For external use only.
