Origin: India

Botanical Name: Curcuma longa

Extraction Method: Steam distillation of root.

Aroma Intensity: Medium

Evaporation Rate: Base Note

Aroma: The same spicy, fresh woods aroma as the powdered spice.

Aromatic Properties: Balancing, relaxing, warming, calming and purifying.

Blends With: Cinnamon Bark, Clary Sage, Clove Bud, Frankincense, Ginger, and Nutmeg.

Precautions: Turmeric Essential Oil may cause skin irritation. Always dilute Turmeric Essential Oil with a carrier oil and avoid use with sensitive skin. Avoid use with children. For external use only.

I am grateful for this oil, I use it in combination with ginger oil for inflammation; it helps to tone down the smokey ginger smell( I love the earthy smell when both are combined).  I find these two oils very grounding.
